The redesigned GFW-MIC-0822, following the success of the GFW-MIC-0821, offers a more stable and heavy base suitable for supporting larger microphones. With a maximum extension capacity of 1.5lbs, this stand also includes a 2.5lbs counterweight to offset heavier mic loads. Ideal for various recording scenarios like podcasts, broadcasts, quick vocals, and floor applications for miking instruments such as kick/bass drums, guitar/bass amplifiers, snare drums, keyboard amplifiers, and more, the GFW-MIC-0822 features a low-profile range and weighted base.

This mic stand is perfect for both desktop recording and stage performances with its compact base design, reducing the stand footprint in tight-space situations. It comes equipped with a 27” telescoping boom arm, twist clutch height and angle adjustment, cable management clip, and a no-slip, vibration-reducing gasket underneath the base. The heavy-duty steel construction with a black powder coat finish and a 10 lbs. base ensures durability and stability.

With the 2.5 lbs. counterweight, the telescopic boom arm can securely hold up to a 1.5 lbs. microphone at full extension. The boom arm extends up to 27" (685mm) and is length and angle independently adjustable.
